Key Changes to GMAT Format

GMAT Test Duration:The GMAT Focus Edition significantly reduces test duration, now totalling 2 hours and 15 minutes compared to the previous 3 hours and 7 minutes.

Analytical Writing:The Analytical Writing section has been omitted in the Focus edition, streamlining the testing process.

Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning:Both Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning sections have undergone adjustments, including a reduction in the number of questions. These changes aim to enhance overall efficiency.

Quantitative Reasoning

No Data Sufficiency Questions:The GMAT Focus Edition eliminates Data Sufficiency questions.

Foundational Knowledge Emphasis: Measures algebraic and arithmetic foundational knowledge.

Problem Solving Questions:The GMAT Focus Edition's Quantitative section consists of 21 Problem Solving questions.

Emphasis on Logical and Analytical Skills: Test-takers must rely on logical and analytical skills, as no calculator is allowed.

Verbal Reasoning

No Sentence Correction Questions:Sentence Correction questions are omitted in the GMAT Focus Edition.

Measuring Reading Comprehension and Reasoning Abilities:This section includes 23 Reading Comprehension and Critical Reasoning questions.
